AAAA had been married for five years, and her dream of becoming a mother seemed like a distant reality. Despite her desire to start a family, she faced numerous health challenges that made conception difficult. With a low Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) level of 1.41, AAAA’s chances of getting pregnant naturally were slim.
Determined to overcome her infertility, AAAA visited DYU IVF Centre in HSR Layout, Bengaluru, on August 19, 2023. Her medical history was complex, having undergone fibroid surgery, cystectomy, breast surgery, salpingectomy, and battling adenomyosis and hypothyroidism.
At DYU IVF Centre, AAAA’s treatment began with egg pickup, which yielded six embryos. However, the procedure revealed multiple endometriotic cysts, requiring doses of down regulation. AAAA also underwent POD collection in the endometrium.
After a month-long gap, AAAA was advised to take antibiotics to ensure her reproductive system was infection-free. Her medical team recommended HRT. So she began Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) to stimulate her endometrium.
The HRT cycle proved successful, and AAAA’s endometrium lining thickened. With her body ready, the frozen embryo (FET) transfer procedure was performed. AAAA waited anxiously for the outcome, and her patience was rewarded – Guess what? YES! She was Pregnant!!!!!!
AAAA’s journey to motherhood was long and arduous, but with the guidance & expertise of IVF Specialist Dr. Jyoti Bandi and DYU IVF Centre’s super competent medical team, AAAA finally achieved her dream.
